Our aim is to establish a safe and sustainable future for Asian tortoises and turtles, and to ensure that no further turtle species become extinct in the region.

Projects focus on endemic and/or the most threatened species including:
• Swinhoe’s Softshell Turtle (Rafetus swinhoei)
• Vietnamese Pond Turtle (Mauremys annamensis)
• Indochinese Box Turtles (Cuora spp.)
• Big-headed Turtles (Platysternon megacephalum)

Training and awareness activities include:
• enforcement training for forest rangers
• promoting public interest in turtle conservation in Vietnam
• building the next generation of young conservationists
