The Turtle Conservation Centre (TCC) in Cuc Phuong National Park has been very busy in 2017 and as we come towards the end of the incubation period for most species in the centre we have had 9 species hatching out.  The Bourret’s Box Turtle (Cuora bourreti), Keeled Box Turtle (Cuora mouhotii), Vietnamese Pond Turtle (Mauremys annamensis), Four-eyed Turtle (Sacalia quadriocellata), Chinese Stripe-necked Turtle (Mauremys sinensis), Elongated Tortoise (Indotestudo elongata), Yellow-headed Temple Turtle (Heosemys annandalii), and Giant Asian Pond turtle (Heosemys grandis).

With so many new additions to the captive population we now need to increase the hatchling and juvenile holding area to allow us to look after these little guys better. If you would like to help support the development of the new hatchling area please donate at: http://www.asianturtleprogram.org/pages/support_atp.html
