Turtle rescued near household in Hanoi

Last Friday, the 13th of March 2020, the ATP/IMC office received one Keeled Box Turtle (Cuora mouhotii), handed over from a young person living in Hanoi who found this turtle near her house.

She said “I was worried because I don’t know how to take care of it, but luckily I found the Education for Nature Vietnam (ENV) Wildlife hotline on the internet and quickly informed them”. After receiving the information, ENV contacted ATP/IMC to ask us for a transfer. Currently, this turtle is being cared for in Hanoi, but will be taken to the Turtle Conservation Centre (TCC) of Cuc Phuong National Park.
